Calgary

9 July, 2008 by pkohler

I am now in Calgary, visiting with my friend, Tracy.  I’m exhausted from pushing more than 130km per day the last few days, which have also included the largest climbs of my trip, so I’m taking a rest day and going to the Stampede as it’s coincidentally going on while I’m here.  Should be fun.  I’m planning on reaching Maple Creek by Friday to visit with my aunt/uncle/cousins there.

As usual, the route so far.

What? That’s it? No entry for Banff? Your blog sucks! Very short on details. No stories of rampaging with the wild bears or fighting with many a moose. No random trains of thought (incorrect though they may be). Where’s the action? Where’s the adventure? Where’s the intrigue? Entertain me!

Seems like your doing really good so far! Keep it up! Say hi to the Litke’s for me!

lol, I gotta agree with Johan… hope you are compiling a more detailed journal smwhere so’s I can cheer on the bears.. I mean the brave cyclist ;) and we’re all waiting breathlessly here in stratford for the photos.

When we told mom she said “wow!”

I’m glad you’re doing so well, it’s good to hear from ya
    best wishes Paul,
